Patient Returns to the Pitch After ACL Injury

The team at the The Mackay Clinic is delighted to see a former patient, Daisy Wilson back on the football pitch following ACL injury.

After sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture, she underwent ACL Internal Brace surgery, with additional augmentation of the anterolateral ligament (ALL) for stability. Following her recovery and rehabilitation, it’s fantastic to see her return to the game in great form.

Now playing for Stoneywood Parkvale FC Women, her return to football is exactly what every injured player hopes for – getting back to doing what they enjoy most and feeling confident in their recovery.

We’re grateful to Daisy for giving us permission to share her Patient Story. All at The Mackay Clinic are delighted to see her back out on the pitch and wish her all the best for the season.
