Mackay Clinic Proud to Continue Sponsorship of Amputee Football Association Scotland

The Mackay Clinic is delighted to confirm the continuation of our sponsorship of the Amputee Football Association Scotland as the organisation builds on an exceptional year for the sport.

Over the past 12 months, the association has achieved remarkable progress both on and off the pitch, culminating in a historic success as winners of the EAFF Nations League Division D – a fantastic milestone for amputee football in Scotland.

A recent meeting brought together founder Ashley Reid, CEO Iain Matthew, Jackie Mackay, and Professor Gordon Mackay, with the impressive trophy from that victory providing a fitting reminder of the team’s success and the momentum behind the sport in Scotland.

Amputee Football Association Scotland continues to play a vital role in expanding opportunities for players across the country, promoting inclusion, participation and high-performance sport. Their work has helped grow the game at both grassroots and international level, creating pathways for athletes and raising the profile of amputee football in Scotland.

At The Mackay Clinic, supporting sport at all levels is central to what we do. As a clinic that works closely with athletes across a wide range of sports, we are proud to support an organisation that demonstrates such resilience, determination and community impact.

Professor Gordon Mackay said: “The progress made by Amputee Football Association Scotland over the last year has been incredible. Winning the EAFF Nations League Division D is a huge achievement and reflects the commitment and hard work of everyone involved. We are very proud to continue supporting the organisation and look forward to seeing what the players and members achieve in 2026.”

Everyone at The Mackay Clinic congratulates the players, coaches and staff on their success and we look forward to continuing this partnership as amputee football in Scotland continues to grow.
