Good news as we launch into 2022

A very Happy New Year to everyone. We are starting the new year with good news as more clinical InternalBrace research papers are published. Both of these relate to the knee.

The first looks in detail at the outcome of a severe multi-ligament knee injury. Taking this extreme case the paper debates that InternalBrace surgery provides superior outcomes to traditional reconstruction techniques using autograft or synthetic reconstruction in such cases.

The second new paper assesses the available literature reporting on suture tape augmentation (InternalBrace technique) in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and (2) determines what evidence exists to support and oppose the technique in clinical practice.
